HAPI adds content in Japanese

January 31, 2024 -- Following our recent system upgrade, HAPI now has the ability to search for and display Japanese-language article records. This addition allows us to add Latin American studies journals from Japan that include Japanese-language content: Latin America Report published by the Institute of Developing Economies, Japan External Trade Organization; and Latin America Ronshu from the Japan Society of Social Science on Latin America. These are in addition to Nanzan University's Perspectivas Latinoamericanas, which primarily includes Spanish articles and has been indexed by HAPI since 2008. This upgrade follows last year's addition of Korean-language content and furthers our goal of providing global perspectives on Latin America and the Caribbean.
